Description
Help students demonstrate their understanding of the Scientific Method with this engaging Scientific Method One-Pager Project! This activity encourages students to organize their thinking visually while explaining how scientists investigate questions using the steps of the scientific method.
Students combine science content, creativity, and critical thinking as they design a one-pager that explains key scientific practices such as observations, questions, hypotheses, investigations, data collection, analysis, and drawing conclusions. This project allows students to show what they know while creating a visually organized summary of the scientific method.
This activity works well as a science project, review activity, assessment, or interactive notebook assignment for middle school science classrooms.
When students are finished with their one pagers, have them do a gallery walk to view other students work. When my students finish one pagers, I put all of their finished projects on a Prezi and have them do a virtual gallery walk. The students love it!
