Bring clean energy science to life with this Renewable Energy 3D Research Project Cube, a hands-on, student-centered investigation designed for upper elementary and middle school science classrooms. Students research a type of renewable energy — such as solar, wind, hydroelectric, geothermal, or biomass energy — and organize their learning into a three-dimensional research cube that makes big ideas visual, creative, and memorable.

Students can complete these cubes two ways. You can print the template on card stock and have them complete it by hand, or you can give them the PowerPoint template, have them complete it in PowerPoint, then print the completed cube.
