Description
Empower your students to engage with sustainability in a meaningful way through this Recycling One-Pager Research Project! Designed for middle-school science (grades 6-8), this activity invites learners to research recycling: how materials are processed, the impact on our planet, challenges in the recycling industry, and ways students can take action. Then, students synthesize their findings into a visually compelling one-page summary.
This resource is ideal for a unit wrap-up, gallery-walk display, alternative assessment, or enrichment task. Whether you’re teaching in-person, digitally, or in a hybrid format, this print-and-go or fully editable digital version fits your workflow — saving you prep time while deepening student engagement.
When students are finished with their one pagers, have them do a gallery walk to view other students work. When my students finish one pagers, I put all of their finished projects on a Prezi and have them do a virtual gallery walk. The students love it! A gallery walk worksheet is included!
