Description
Help your students unlock the foundational principles of motion with this dynamic Newton’s Laws of Motion One-Pager Research Project! Designed for grades 6-8 (and easily adapted for older students), this activity guides learners to research and creatively summarize the three laws by Isaac Newton — inertia, force = mass × acceleration, and action-reaction.
Whether you’re wrapping up a unit on forces or launching into basic physics, this resource is perfect for a gallery walk, alternative assessment, or print-and-go creative project. It works seamlessly in the classroom, online, or in a hybrid setting.
When students are finished with their one pagers, have them do a gallery walk to view other students work. When my students finish one pagers, I put all of their finished projects on a Prezi and have them do a virtual gallery walk. The students love it!
