Description
Bring Indigenous history and cultural learning to life with this Native American Tribes 3D Research Project Cube, a hands-on, student-centered research activity designed for upper elementary and middle school classrooms. Students investigate a specific Native American tribe — exploring its history, culture, traditions, geographic region, language, and legacy — then synthesize their findings into a three-dimensional research cube that makes important cultural concepts visual, meaningful, and memorable.
Perfect for Native American Heritage Month, social studies units, world history, geography lessons, and multicultural research projects, this activity blends research, writing, critical thinking, and creativity while giving teachers a meaningful way to showcase student learning in your classroom or hallways.
Students can complete these cubes two ways. You can print the template on card stock and have them complete it by hand, or you can give them the PowerPoint template, have them complete it in PowerPoint, then print the completed cube.
Your students will be completely engaged with this hands-on activity!
