Description
Bring real-world environmental science into your classroom with this Endangered Species 3D Research Project Cube, a hands-on, student-centered research activity designed for upper elementary and middle school science classrooms. Students investigate an endangered species, explore the reasons it is threatened, and analyze how human actions and environmental changes impact biodiversity — then organize their learning into a three-dimensional research cube that makes complex concepts visual, engaging, and meaningful.
Perfect for life science, ecosystems, biodiversity, conservation, and Earth Day units, this project blends research, informational writing, critical thinking, and creative presentation while producing eye-catching student work that’s ideal for classroom or hallway displays.
Students can complete these cubes two ways. You can print the template on card stock and have them complete it by hand, or you can give them the PowerPoint template, have them complete it in PowerPoint, then print the completed cube.
Your students will be completely engaged with this hands-on science activity!
