Description
Celebrate Black History Month with this 3D Research Project Cube, a hands-on, student-centered activity that helps learners explore the lives, contributions, and impact of notable Black historical figures. Students research an influential individual’s life, achievements, struggles, and legacy, then synthesize their findings into a three-dimensional research cube that makes learning visual, engaging, and memorable.
Perfect for social studies, U.S. history, cultural studies, biography units, and Black History Month lessons, this project blends research, informational writing, critical thinking, and creative presentation — all while producing student work that’s ideal for bulletin boards, gallery walks, and classroom displays.
Students can complete these cubes two ways. You can print the template on card stock and have them complete it by hand, or you can give them the PowerPoint template, have them complete it in PowerPoint, then print the completed cube.
Your students will be completely engaged with this hands-on activity!
