A Little About Me....

Christina here….I’m the creator behind The Science Effect — a middle school science educator who believes that small instructional choices can make a big difference in how students experience learning.

I have been teaching for over 12 years in an urban school district, where I’ve worked with a wide range of learners and instructional needs. That experience has shaped how I approach lesson design, classroom structure, and student engagement on a daily basis.

I design classroom resources that focus on clarity, structure, and engagement, helping students better understand science concepts while supporting a wide range of learning needs. My materials are created with real classrooms in mind and are designed to be easy to implement, flexible, and meaningful for both teachers and students.

I hold a master’s degree in special education, which strongly influences how I design my resources. Clear organization, visual supports, and thoughtful scaffolding are built into everything I create so that all students — including those who need additional support — can access and succeed with grade-level science content.

The goal of The Science Effect is simple: to help teachers create small shifts in instruction that lead to greater confidence, understanding, and curiosity in the science classroom.
