Plate Tectonics | Crumple & Shoot | Trashketball Science Review Game

Description

Turn your plate-tectonics unit review into a fun, high-energy classroom game with this complete Trashketball-style review activity — ideal for grades 6–8. Students will reinforce key concepts about Earth’s crust, continental drift, tectonic plate boundaries, and geological events — all while collaborating, moving, and playing. Perfect for test review, unit wrap-ups, sub days, or science review weeks.

The Crumple & Shoot game goes like this….Group your students. Ask them a question and have them write it down on a piece of paper. If the groups get the answer right they can send one student to “shoot” their answer into the trash can. If they make it into the can they get points. Whichever group has the most points at the end of the game wins.

This is a great way to review science concepts while having fun with your students as well. They will love this science review game!!
