Bring creativity, research, and critical thinking together with this engaging Adaptations One Pager Project! Students will research an organism of their choice and explore the adaptations that help it survive in its environment while creating a visually appealing one-pager that demonstrates their understanding.
This resource is designed to promote deeper thinking, student choice, and scientific communication while providing structured support through editable templates, rubrics, and student examples.
Perfect for Life Science units on adaptations, natural selection, evolution, ecosystems, biodiversity, and survival!
🦊 Students Will:
✔️ Select an organism to research
✔️ Describe its habitat and environment
✔️ Identify and explain multiple adaptations
✔️ Analyze how adaptations help the organism survive
✔️ Evaluate which adaptation provides the greatest advantage
✔️ Predict how environmental changes may impact survival
✔️ Design a creative and informative one-pager
When students are finished with their one pagers, have them do a gallery walk to view other students work. When my students finish one pagers, I put all of their finished projects on a Prezi and have them do a virtual gallery walk. The students love it!
