Description
Celebrate Star Wars Day and deepen physics understanding with this fun, engaging Force & Motion One‐Pager Research Project! Designed for middle‐school (grades 6–8) physical science, this activity invites students to explore the concepts of force, motion, and Newton’s 3 laws of motion in a creative format. With a nod to the Star Wars theme (“May the Fourth be with you”), it adds extra fun while reinforcing serious science.
Perfect for use as a unit wrap-up, gallery‐walk display, alternative assessment, or enrichment task, this resource works whether you’re in‐person, hybrid, or remote. Printable and fully editable, it allows you to deliver meaningful student work with minimal prepping.
When students are finished with their one pagers, have them do a gallery walk to view other students work. When my students finish one pagers, I put all of their finished projects on a Prezi and have them do a virtual gallery walk. The students love it!
